Presentation

By Ghislain Quétel, son of a resistance fighter

On this 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings, is the theft of a plan of the German fortifications immortalized by Bourvil in the film “The Atlantic Wall” a reality or a fiction? A “historical treasure” of plans of the coastline between Saint-Malo, Cherbourg and Le Havre, contained in a suitcase found in August 2017, reveals the relationships between Norman resistance leaders and the three London secret services.
It will also be about Jean Renaud-Dandicolle, an exceptional resistance fighter from the Grandclément network, who became an SOE secret agent to escape arrests in Bordeaux.
