The rods
A large, fine sandy beach, Plage des Vergnes is the setting for the July fireworks display. A unique feature of the area is "La Couronne ," a rock formation surrounded by the sea at high tide. It delights vacationers at low tide! Indeed, one can climb it via natural steps carved into the rock. This section of cliff, several meters high, offers a panoramic view of the entire estuary. Extreme caution is therefore advised.
The Nuns
This is THE beach in Meschers. Lively and just a stone's throw from the town center, Plage des Nonnes is the perfect family beach . A far cry from its original purpose as a place of prayer at sunset, it now boasts a beach club for children. Parents can take the opportunity to enjoy a drink with their feet in the water at Bikki Beach, one of the beach bars.
Suzac
Below the Suzac headland, Suzac beach is the northernmost seaside area in the commune of Meschers-sur-Gironde. Nestled in the heart of the forest of the same name, and near the Estuary Park in the commune of Saint-Georges-de-Didonne, this beach is surrounded by holm oaks, giving it a very natural character. Another unique feature of this beach is the option of dining on the terrace at La Crique Suzac Beach.

Together, they cause the wrecking of ships passing offshore in order to plunder the vessels.
Arnèche
Located between Vergnes Beach and Suzac Beach, Arnèche Beach is only accessible via the coastal path. Cliffs surround this natural cove-shaped beach. It offers a peaceful escape from the crowded atmosphere of the more popular family beaches along the coast. There are no lifeguards on duty during the summer.

The municipal troglodytic site of Meschers, the Grottes du Régulus (Regulus Caves ), owes its name to the famous French ship.
