La Solitaire du Figaro

After a successful and popular first edition in 2022, the Royan Atlantique Urban Community (CARA) will once again host the Solitaire du Figaro Paprec this summer.

The announcement was made official in Rouen on March 29. Royan Atlantique will host the second stopover of this 55th edition.

From September 4 to 8, this great boating festival will take place in the port of Royan, along the Kerimel de Kerveno esplanade.
CARA and its partners (city of Royan, Joint Estuary Port Syndicate Royan Ocean La Palmyre, Régates de Royan, department of Charente-Maritime, Nouvelle-Aquitaine region and European fund for maritime affairs, fishing and aquaculture), prepare a welcome worthy of the event. Local stakeholders will be there to share a high-level sporting and friendly moment.

Here are the highlights of the 2024 stopover:
- The inauguration of the village will take place on Wednesday September 4, 2024 at 12 p.m.;
- The arrival of the boats is scheduled for Thursday September 5 at the start of the day;
- The prizes from the previous stage will be awarded Friday September 6 at 18 p.m.;
- The presentation of the skippers and the departure for the last stage will take place on Sunday September 8, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 15:30 p.m.
