Raphaël Sévère, winner of the Tokyo competition at the age of 12, nominated for the Victoires de la Musique “Instrumental soloist revelation” at 15, won in November 2013 the prestigious Young Concerts Artists competition in New York which awarded him the 1st Prize as well as eight of the ten Special Prizes. His stage partner for this concert, Antoine Morinière, began playing guitar with Jean Luc Rocchietti then joined the Bordeaux Regional National Conservatory for five years. In 2011, Antoine entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris in the class of Olivier Chassain and Laurent Blanquart. Antoine is at the age of 29, one of the very few in the world of guitar, winner of so many international competitions. These two stars of chamber music are also great explorers! Together, they invite us on a musical journey with Latin and even Spanish accents, but also venture to present their own creations to us.
