Under the direction of organist and harpsichordist Fabio Bonizzoni, La Risonanza is one of the most renowned Italian Baroque ensembles.
Over the course of nearly three decades of activity, La Risonanza has recorded numerous CDs, most notably Handel's Italian cantatas which received the Stanley Sadie Prize and a Gramophone Award. Fabio Bonizzoni offers here original entertainment, inspired by the famous “quarrel, jesters”! where Alex Vizorek delivers the humorous and satirical text of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, contemptor of French music in favor of Italian opera, in the midst of controversy, igniting Paris in the middle of the 18th century.
