Festival de choeurs – Concert Take a Snap

The “Histoires de choirs” festival was born in 2013 on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the female vocal ensemble of the music conservatory. It is nourished each year by the meeting between amateur choirs and professional musicians.

The name of the group "Take a Snap" is a tribute to the vocal ensembles of male voices, BarberShops, Golden Gate Quartet, King Singers without forgetting the Frères Jacques who did not hesitate to combine the beauty of their singing with the snaps of their fingers , the “Snap”!

The ensemble likes to defend all forms of a cappella music, from Renaissance songs to traditional, Basque, Corsican songs, including French song, spirituals and even contemporary creation!
A program that will guide you through the different eras of the male a cappella vocal repertoire carried by the powerful voices of the Take a snap quintet.
