Calligraphy and wax seal making workshop.
What were the supports and tools for writing in Antiquity? How was writing done in the Middle Ages? What was a seal for? The workshop allows you to discover the evolution of writing supports and tools since Antiquity and to learn medieval calligraphy. After a series of exercises to learn how to use their calame, the children will be asked to write their first name on a medieval charter and affix a wax seal to seal their document.
