Visite du domaine viticole – Les Hauts de Talmont
Les Hauts de Talmont is a vineyard created in 2003 by three partners. The estate covers 11 hectares of vines planted with white grape varieties Colombard and Folle Blanche, and for red grapes Merlot and Balzac Noir, on the Caillaud cliff in Talmont-sur-Gironde.
We welcome our guests in front of the winery, which has free private parking on site. Our visitors are taken to the edge of the cliff, offering a magnificent panoramic view of the Gironde Estuary and the village of Talmont.
After the history of the place, the project, the choice of grape varieties, we tour the vineyard with explanations on our cultivation methods and concepts of biodynamics.
Then a visit to the wine cellar with explanations of the architecture, equipment, winemaking and aging processes. A walk through the underground section to discover our barrel cellar.
Back in the courtyard then exploration of our second cellar dedicated to our vintage cognacs.
The visit ends in our tasting room where the range will be presented to you.
