Established in the Marennes-Oléron oyster farming area since 1879, the Chiron Fils company uses all its experience, while respecting tradition, to produce oysters of exceptional quality.
Don't hesitate to sign up for guided tours to discover our craft. From the birth of the oyster to its marketable size, we will explain all the work carried out during the 3 and a half years of oyster growth to obtain a quality worthy of a Marennes-Oléron PGI.
You will visit the production hut, learn about the importance of refining in Claire, and at the end taste our oysters with the exceptional taste of the terroir of Claire de Marennes-Oléron.
The visit is carried out on foot while respecting the environment.
