About
The small Kite Museum, a collection of traditional kites from around the world, welcomes you every day during school holidays (free entry).
Les Vents du Tao is a small kite museum created by wind and recycling specialists.
Ludovic Petit has been a kite maker for more than 30 years, his favorite field being traditional paper and bamboo kites, but more particularly combat kites.
Karine Taoki, passionate about China and Korea, has been practicing calligraphy for more than 15 years and sculpts characters and animals out of recycled kitchen utensils.
Their daughter, Shâm Petit, fell into it when she was little. She continues and enhances her parents' activity by offering workshops around the wind, recycling and movement.
In 2013, they settled in Talmont-sur-Gironde, to create a Small Kite Museum and offer children fun workshops through the creation of kites, wind turbines in recycling and spinning tops. A boutique space is dedicated to their creations of recycled wind turbine objects made by them.
Children can participate in many workshops such as building a kite, a wind turbine or even a spinning top. Duration of the workshops from 30 minutes to 1 hour.
We receive children between 11 a.m. and 13 p.m. then between 14 p.m. and 18 p.m. for the workshops, reservation recommended on 07 71 12 36 19.
