About us

Created in 1996, on an agricultural plot devoid of any plantation, we have created an English country-style garden.

Over the years, we have exploited each space of its 17 m000 and embellished it with various unusual creations, large groves of bamboo in which we like to get lost, ponds and small waterfalls and some 2 varieties of plants. Bordered by the Seudre river in a wild and calm environment, many driftwood seats and little secret corners invite you to relax.

From an early age, Mr. Tantin has been passionate about fishing, walks in the forest, mushrooms, the mountains and everything that relates directly or indirectly to nature. It is therefore quite naturally that he turned to landscape studies.
When he retired, his father, a former farmer, bequeathed him a piece of land which served as the starting point for his project.

It was then in 1996, on an area of 16 m², that the creation of his project began alongside his wife. The terrain being sloping and oriented North-East, the conditions were not the most favorable. It is with perseverance and imagination that the garden was designed little by little.

In the beginning, trees, such as Scots pines, maritime pines, umbrella pines, or field maples and oaks were the first base of the garden. Over time, walks and various encounters, they collected seeds and plant cuttings allowing them to create a garden at a lower cost. It is also thanks to the various recycled materials, such as wood, wicker, hazel or phragmites that they were able to design and dress the beds.

For more than 30 years, Mr. Tantin exercises the profession of landscaper with always as much curiosity, which allows him to perfect his English-country style garden according to the seasons.

Today, he wishes to share his passion and his creation with others, so that they can escape to his garden.
