Auberge-Musée du Caviar et de l’Esturgeon
Address
About
Place of associative cultural animation which tells and brings to life the history of French caviar and sturgeon from the estuary, European, Acipenser Sturio, locally called Créac, during more than the first half of the XNUMXth century.
The former sturgeon inn and the village of Saint-Seurin-d'Uzet are historic sites for the preparation and tasting of Gironde caviar, the first caviar produced in France in the 1920s, thanks to the House Prunier, famous Parisian restaurant and historical operator for more than 50 years. This is what still earns the village the name of "capital of caviar" in France today.
