Undoubtedly one of the most important ancient port cities of the Atlantic coast in connection with Médiolanum (Saintes) but also the rest of the Roman Empire. Through its museum which presents the furniture discovered during the excavations and an outdoor tour along the progressively highlighted remains (thermal baths, sanctuary and temple), the archaeological site of Fâ now invites young and old to discover the history of the place and better understand Gallo-Roman life.
After 2000 years of mystery, an important Gallo-Roman port city is now revealing some of its secrets!
A modern and interactive museum (restitutions, objects from excavations) and a route between the thermal baths and the surroundings of the temple will allow you to understand the extent of this ancient city. Daily life at that time will be revealed to you. Throughout the year, free or guided tours are organized for young and old.
From April to November, numerous activities: guided tours every day, Gallo-Roman activities, excavation workshop, participatory activities, garden tours, etc.
Visits for groups, from February 1 to December 30, by reservation.
Specific services for children: booklet, paper game
