The brand Home Bike © offers cyclists a welcome and quality services along medium and long distance cycle routes, also called cycle routes.
The cycle routes use low-traffic routes, accessible to all cyclists and without steep gradients. In our territory, the Vélodyssée® (from La Tremblade to Royan) and the Canal des deux mers by bike® (from Royan to Saint-Romain-sur-Gironde) are part of the cycle routes.
The national brand Accueil Vélo © is thus aimed at all types of establishment: accommodation, tourist sites, leisure, bike rental and repair or tourist offices.
A Accueil Vélo © establishment is, in particular, the guarantee for the bicycle tourist of:
- Be less than 5 km from a cycle route
- Have suitable equipment: secure bicycle shelter, repair kit
- Benefit from an attentive welcome: useful information and advice (tours, restaurants nearby, weather forecast, etc.)
- Have services adapted to cyclists: washing and drying clothes, cleaning point for bicycles, etc.
