9:45-11:05 a.m.: Board the Mouettes train at Saujon station
The Seagull Train offers an authentic experience: a journey through time on the old railway line opened in 1876 and once dedicated to the transport of oysters. Aboard the old-fashioned carriages, you will discover the rich landscapes of the Seudre estuary with the help of volunteers from the Trains and Traction association. Depending on the schedule chosen, the journey will be made by STEAM or DIESEL locomotive

11:15 a.m.-12:00 p.m.: Guided Tour of the Grève – Port of La Tremblade
At the mouth of the Seudre River, on the Arvert Peninsula, La Tremblade surprises with its natural riches and diversity. Discover the Grève channel with its unique, colorful cabins. It's at the heart of a fascinating story to be discovered with your guide.

12:30 p.m.: In one of our partner restaurants on the beach – port of La Tremblade (see menu suggestion below)

14:15 p.m. - 15:15 p.m.: Visit a salt marsh, with the salt farmer!
Meet a traditional salt producer in the marshes of La Seudre. This old-fashioned salt worker will introduce you to the ancestral activity that has long been the source of wealth for the region.

15:30 p.m. - 17:30 p.m.: Discovery of an oyster farm
Discover the world of oyster farming through the eyes of oyster farmers: from the oyster itself to life on the farm. A 30-minute video explaining the life of the oyster from birth to consumption, including production, refining, traceability, and consumption, will be complemented by commentary from the oyster farmer and followed by a tasting of 6 oysters with wine, bread, lemon, and vinegar.

• The timetables are given for information purposes only and are subject to change.
• The salt marsh visit may be cancelled in case of bad weather conditions.
• For a group of 40 to 80 people, an additional guide will be mobilized to ensure the comfort of all (participants, residents and guides). The tour will then take place in two separate groups.
