Mairie de Chenac-Saint-Seurin-d’Uzet
About us
This town is the result of the merger, on February 25, 1965, of two towns about three kilometers apart: Chenac-sur-Gironde and Saint-Seurin-d'Uzet.
Chenac-sur-Gironde: village of farmers and winegrowers perched on a hillside overlooking the Gironde estuary.
Saint-Seurin-d'Uzet: small fishing port which was once an important center of caviar production.
The territory of Chenac is mainly composed of a series of quite marked hills descending in regular slope towards the Estuary of the Gironde.
