About us

Located on the borders of the agricultural Grandes Champagnes Saintongeaises, this small town has retained a rural appearance with the advantage of its close proximity to Saujon, located 5 km away.

The relatively discreet municipal heritage of Le Chay consists of a small church dedicated to Saint-Martin (XNUMXth century) and several traditional Saintongeaise houses called “Charentaises”.

The river “La Seudre” is the main watercourse that crosses the town of Le Chay.
