Les Basses Amarres

We savor a modern and inspired market cuisine, led by chef Franck Berthier, showcasing local Charente products in an exceptional natural setting, facing the marshes.
Led by chef Franck Berthier and his team, the cuisine is modern, passionate, and resolutely focused on local Charente produce, carefully selected according to the seasons and availability. The menu changes regularly to respect the rhythm of nature and offer a constantly evolving experience.
Located a stone's throw from the port, the restaurant offers a beautiful terrace with views of the Seudre marshes, ideal for enjoying a meal in complete serenity, between preserved landscapes and boats at high tide.
Among the chef's specialties are beef fillet and warm oysters with morels. This restaurant is highly regarded for its culinary excellence, its tranquil setting, and its commitment to local flavors, in the heart of one of France's most beautiful villages.
Local products that I cook: fruits, vegetables, fish, seafood, honey, cheeses, wines, beers and spirits
