Plage de la Grande Conche

The supervised area, delimited by colored flags, totems to facilitate location in space, its equipment and its calm waters make it an ideal beach for families.
Nearby, the always lively seafront with its restaurants, ice cream parlors, cafes and shops.

Application of municipal decree 22-1388, prohibiting access to the town's beaches to animals, even those kept on a leash, applicable from April 1 to September 30.

Specific signage has been put up on each site indicating the mandatory health measures.

* Grande Conche Beach, Mirado part
Supervised beach from Saturday June 20 to Saturday June 30, 2026 from 13:30 p.m. to 18:30 p.m.
From July 1 to August 31, 2026 inclusive, monitoring will take place from 11 a.m. to 19 p.m.
Then from September 1 to 6, 2026, swimming will be supervised from 13:30 p.m. to 18:30 p.m.

* Grande Conche beach, Lido section:
From July 1 to August 31, 2026 inclusive, monitoring will take place from 11 a.m. to 19 p.m.

From the structures put in place, to cleanliness (daily cleaning) and the quality of bathing water (regular samples), Royan beaches are the subject of great attention from the municipal technical services and the Urban Community.
Because of its urban environment and its reasonable size, it is quite easy to find one's way by taking the aid station or a building as a landmark.

Similarly, in season, they install information cabins on either side of the beach, tents (canvas beach cabins) to allow tourists to benefit from a little shade, totems to facilitate location in space, deckchairs/sun loungers, an adapted path (rigid plastic tiles that clip together).

From 20/06 to 30/06/2026 Supervised swimming every day from 13:30 p.m. to 18:30 p.m.
Mirado section only.

02/07/2026 Supervised swimming from 11am to 19pm.

From 01/09 to 06/09/2026 Supervised swimming from 13 p.m. to 18:30 p.m.
Mirado section only.

Rental period for the Mirado section from June 20 to August 30, 2026 and for the Lido and Paradou section from July 4 to August 23, 2026.
Two booking options are available: online or directly at the beach hut. However, the town hall strongly recommends booking online.
