Vignoble Maison Robert

Mr. Hilaire Robert was one of the first winegrowers in the region to sell his production in bottles before the war.
In 1949, his son, Edmond, took over the family business, built his cellars, his distillery and diversified his grape varieties for the production of Pineau des Charentes, which was very popular with his customers.

In the 80s, Edmond passed the torch to his nephew Pierre Robert while remaining present and loyal to his clientele.
In 2008, Abel Roux joined the company and developed the production of table wines. Abel planted an additional 45 hectares, including 20 for table wine and 5 for Pineau des Charentes. He acquired a bottling line in 2009 and built a new winery in 2011. Then, in 2015, he opened his own Maison Robert direct sales store in Cozes.
