Geay Oysters embody five generations of family tradition in La Tremblade, between Marennes and the Île d'Oléron.
Since 1874, the story began in the small oyster port where Eutrope Geay and his son Georges enlivened local markets with their charisma and the exceptional quality of their oysters. After the Second World War, René Geay, representing the third generation, expanded the reputation of Geay Oysters by delivering directly to fishmongers throughout France.
Today, Patrice Geay carries on the family tradition, refining techniques and developing a range of exceptional oysters, from Fine de Claire to Grand Cru, thus strengthening the company's national reputation. Adrien Geay, a passionate heir, cultivates his oyster beds and shares his Grand Cru oysters around the world.
