About us
Chironfils has been a producer of oysters in the Marennes Oléron basin since 1879. We produce the four qualities of Marennes Oléron oysters: Fine de Claire, Fine de Claire Verte Label Rouge, Spéciale de Claire, Pousse en Claire Label Rouge.
We also produce a Special Chironfils oyster on lines off the Ile de Ré. All our production is carried out locally, in harmony with nature. Clams and prawns are also raised in our clearings.
Sale at the property:
- All year round from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 17:30 p.m.
Markets, fairs, exhibitions:
- Saint-Palais-sur-mer market: Every day from July 1 to August 30 - Weekends the rest of the year
Activities:
- Product tasting at the port of L'Eguille-sur-Seudre from June to September
- Visit to the oyster cabin (upon availability, from 10 people).
