Boucle VTC – Autour de l'Île d'Étaules

Welcome to La Palmyre, between Sea and Forest, the resort offers an exceptional natural setting.
Do not miss the Bay of Bonne Anse, shaped by the winds and currents, it is an exceptional botanical and ornithological site.
Always in the heart of nature, you will ride in turn between the maritime pines of the Coubre forest and the salt marshes of the Seudre. You will circulate between the clears (place of refining of the oysters) their channels (canals connecting the Seudre to the clears) and the oyster huts, a landscape with multiple blues.

In Chaillevette, you will have to take a break at a place called Beauregard to admire the panorama and the breathtaking view of the estuary. An orientation table will help you find your way.

Before returning to the large sandy beaches of the Grande Côte, you will cross the gentle marshes between Breuillet and St Augustin, where you may be lucky enough to see herons or storks flying away.

With a flat terrain, you can stroll in the middle of preserved nature where fauna and flora reign supreme.
This cycle route brings you to calm and serenity.
