Boucle VTC (saisonnière) – Le centre de la Destination Royan Atlantique

From the largest estuary to the smallest river in France: this is a good way to recharge your batteries.

Saujon

Loop

This route follows Route 1 ("La Vélodyssée - From Ronce-les-Bains to Royan"), Route 3 ("Le Canal des 2 Mers"), Route 4 ("La Boucle de Meschers-sur- Gironde"), Route 6 ("Between Seudre douce et Estuaire de la Gironde"), Route 7 ("The Star of Saujon"), Route 9 ("Les Chemins de la Seudre"), and Route 10 ("From La Tremblade to La Palmyre").

Autumn, Summer, Spring

You will go to meet the seaside resorts of the Côte de Beauté:
From "Belle Époque" villas to large houses with geometric shapes from the 50s, from fishing ports to marinas, from troglodyte caves dug to the Notre-Dame church in reinforced concrete, all that you will discover is nothing but contradiction. .

You will leave the waves of the Atlantic to discover the marshes of the Seudre partly composed of old salt marshes, where the clear ones are installed which allow the refining of the oysters (in oyster farming).

In Mornac, while waiting to board the Train des Mouettes for Saujon, stroll through these cobbled streets blooming with hollyhocks.
The end of the trip will be filled with color: from fields of wheat, sunflowers or corn to the vineyards of the Coteaux de Gironde...

Please note, this route can also be done from Mornac by taking the Train des Mouettes (from April to September) to Saujon!
