Boucle VTC (saisonnière) – Les rives de la Seudre Ostréicole

Discovery by bike of the "Seudre Salée" and its oyster basin. This course with flat relief, will make you travel on the 2 banks of the Seudre.
On your way some curiosities not to be missed:
– La Tour de Broue, in Saint Sornin. Citadel built by Vauban, it dominates the vast Brouage marsh
– the Moulin des Loges in Saint-Just-Luzac, it is one of the last tide mills in Europe. It is qualified as a quality eco-tourist site
– Marennes, capital of the oyster, a museum “the City of the Oyster” is dedicated to it to know everything about its history, its culture, its production.

In summer, you will cross the Seudre in Cayenne, thanks to the ferry boat, an original way to reach the other bank, the rest of the year, you will take the Pont de la Seudre, be careful of the road traffic.
From La Tremblade to Mornac you will discover all the oyster farming villages.

Mornac Sur Seudre, a must-see site with its flowery alleys, its salt marsh, its port and its multicolored huts will take you through time.

Possibility of taking the ferry boat from La Grève to reach Cayenne.

Please note, this route can also be done from Mornac by taking the Train des Mouettes (from April to September) to Saujon!
