Boucle VTC (saisonnière) – De Mornac à Mortagne-sur-Gironde

110 km of discovery through the multicolored landscapes of the territory: the green water of the Seudre, the green of the forests, the blue of the ocean finally the yellow of the cultures of the soil.
From Mornac, a village classified as "The most beautiful village in France", you will set off through the marshes of Saint-Augustin towards the fine sandy beaches of the Atlantic Coast. You can take a break in Vaux-sur-Mer, and experience an orienteering race at the lake. You will have to follow a route using a dedicated map and a compass, to successively reach specific crossing points (milestones or milestones). Combining fun and education, this discipline is practiced with the family and allows immersion in natural spaces.

Head to the south of the estuary and discover Mortagne-sur-Gironde:
In the church of Saint-Étienne there is an ex-voto, the ship “Stella Maris” a four-masted trading barque. The model dates from the 19th century.

It's time to head to Saujon and take the hilly roads of the Coteaux de Gironde. You will cross vineyards, fields of wheat, corn and sunflowers. Magnificent views of the estuary are available to you.
The Train des Mouettes will take you to Mornac.
