This route follows Route 1 ("La Vélodyssée - From Ronce-les-Bains to Royan"), Route 3 ("Le Canal des 2 Mers"), Route 4 ("La Boucle de Meschers-sur- Gironde"), Route 6 ("Between Seudre douce et Estuaire de la Gironde"), Route 7 ("The Star of Saujon"), and Route 2 ("From the Seudre to the Vélodyssée") .

Be careful when crossing Breuillet at the intersection of the RD14.

Route with varied terrain: relatively flat from Mornac to Saint-Georges-de-Didonne, and more hilly from Meschers to Saujon, can be a good opportunity to use the electric bike.

The seaside resorts with their family beaches of fine sand such as Saint-Palais-sur-Mer, Vaux-sur-Mer, Royan, Saint-Georges-de-Didonne and Meschers-sur-Gironde will take you through the ages between the sumptuous villas of the Belle Époque and post-war architecture following the bombardment.

The Suzac forest with its Mediterranean vegetation is home to the Parc de l'Estuaire, a sensitive and protected natural area, it offers playful discoveries of nature.

Then, in the heart of the valleys, the small villages nestled will offer you a rich heritage with its jewels of Romanesque art.

In Saujon, you can take the Train des Mouettes which will take you to Mornac-sur-Seudre.

Please note, this route can also be done from Saujon by taking the Train des Mouettes (from April to September) to Mornac!
