Leaving from Talmont, the walk takes you to the Logis de La Fond which has been transformed into a castle by the addition of a pavilion and outbuildings including a square dovecote.
Off the trail, 500 m to the right following the GR®360, possibility of organized visit to the Moulin du Fâ. Then in the marshes, you will take a long grassy path that will redirect you to Talmont.
At the beginning of our era, Talmont was a rocky islet in a vast water-filled depression between the cliffs of Caillaud and Meschers. From the Middle Ages, the process of filling the depression was accelerated by the exploitation of salt marshes. Very quickly, the two islets were attached to the continent.
