PR N°18 – Cozes

Departing from the Logis de Sorlut, the circuit guides you through fields and forest.
Built in the 1981th century, the Château de Sorlut has only retained a large staircase with balusters. Bought by the municipality in XNUMX, it is a place of entertainment with a swimming pool, a party hall, and exhibition halls. In the village, the XNUMXth century halls have preserved wooden pillars from the XNUMXth century.

The Roman road found on the route was in fact the crossroads of several routes used by the Romans to travel in the south-east/north-west axis. At a place called “La Piaudrie”, there are numerous Gallo-Roman remains.
