– Sablonceaux Abbey, sold as national property during the Revolution, it was left abandoned and partially demolished. At the beginning of the 1962th century, it was used as a health center, an orphanage then as an agricultural center, then restored since 1986. It was purchased by the diocese of La Rochelle and Saintes in XNUMX.
– The Pirelonge Tower in Saint-Romain-de-Benet is a Gallo-Roman stone tower, it is located along the Roman road linking Saintes to Bordeaux. It was a funerary monument dedicated to an important person.
