La Longère

Our Longère is the result of a major renovation started at the end of 2021.

The old and the modern coexist, the numerous openings let in light at any time of the day. The materials and colors are natural and soft. Large volumes are present in each room.

The guest room is just like the house: spacious, comfortable, and relaxing.

The exterior of the house is adorned each year with a new bed of plants, flowers, a vegetable garden and you can appreciate the vastness of the space with the Gironde estuary right next door.

The Longère de l'estuaire is directly on the Canal des 2 mers cycle route. Many other routes are easily accessible from the house.
We are delighted to be a member of the "Accueil Vélo" label for the second consecutive year. Cyclists will find all the qualities of this label at La Longère de l'estuaire.
We have a closed room and basic repair equipment for repairs.
La Longère is located just at the entrance to the small village of Mortagne-Sur-Gironde.
You will find all the essential shops there. By bike or on foot you can reach the port where you can hang out with second-hand dealers and local artists. The sailboats join the estuary through the lock. Life there is peaceful.
Dare to go down the estuary south of Royan. Come and immerse yourself in the vineyards, the wildlife, the migratory birds, the estuary returned to its wild nature.
We are 25 minutes from Royan or Saintes, 45 minutes from the island of Oléron, 1 hour from La Rochelle or Bordeaux.

Continental breakfast is included in the price. If you would like another formula, we will be happy to prepare it for you.
We can also prepare a picnic or a snack plate for you.
