Floirac is a rural town located in the canton of Saintonge Estuaire. The population is divided between the towns of Floirac, Saint-Romain-sur-Gironde and Mageloup, as well as a few hamlets.

The town is one of the stages of a marked hiking trail, the GR 360.

Except Fridays and weekends.
