École Sartiaux-Garnier
Sartiaux-Garnier School is the primary school in Vaux-sur-Mer. It has six spacious classrooms in a pleasant setting. Six teachers supervise the approximately 140 students enrolled each year.
The courtyard is equipped with sports facilities and offers large play areas.
The town of Vaux-sur-Mer opted for a catering service carried out by its own services for schoolchildren, children in the nursery and the leisure center.
It prioritizes local products and short supply chains. As such, the City of Vaux-sur-Mer has joined the purchasing group that brings together numerous public catering organizations in the Royan Atlantique Agglomeration Community area.
Meals are prepared on site. The cook develops menus in consultation with a dietician to ensure children receive the necessary nutritional intake while also developing their sense of taste.
Supervision is provided by municipal activity leaders at the elementary school and by ATSEMs at the preschool.
The "daycare" hours (Elementary and Nursery School) are as follows:
– In the morning from 7:30 to 8:30
– Lunch break from 11:45 am to 13:45 pm
– In the evening from 16:30 p.m. to 19:00 p.m.
Opening
All year round, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30am to 12pm and from 14pm to 16:30pm.
