BMX Breuillet

Under the leadership of the young and newly elected president, Sandra Rossignol, the club has maintained its friendly atmosphere, and the dedicated parent volunteers are very involved. They didn't hesitate to roll up their sleeves to renovate the track and restructure the jumps on the site. Since the club can't afford a minibus, the parents are still on hand to transport the thirty or so riders to competitions.

There is no good club without good coaching. Mathieu Daunas, the visiting coach, brings all his expertise. Second in the 1999 World Championships, he shares his experience with the Breuillet club during competitions as well as during training sessions every Wednesday and Saturday.

The club participates in a number of competitions. In particular, three French challenges, four Nouvelle-Aquitaine cups, five District cups, a regional championship and four autumn trophies including one in Breuillet on September 22 and the French championship in Calais in July.

The stated ambition is to organize a French challenge in Breuillet in 2020. In order to attract young pilots, the club provides equipment for newcomers and allows a free trial for one month.
