Royan Atlantique celebrates Christmas
Storytelling, Christmas parades, entertainment for children, at Destination Royan Atlantique holiday traditions are numerous. Christmas celebrations in Royan
For the third year in a row, the Christmas spirit once again invades the city of Royan ! From Place Charles de Gaulle to the Kerimel de Kerveno esplanade, you can immerse yourself in Canadian culture at the heart of a 3 hectare village with lots of original animations. We stroll on the traditional Christmas market and in the different themed gardens to the sound of Christmas carols. We find our inner child on the toboggan run and enjoy the many attractions for young and old. After so many emotions, Santa Claus is quietly waiting for us in his sleigh near the enchanted labyrinth. At nightfall, we then witness the illuminations of the city and its tree.
An opening evening marks the launch of the festivities on Friday December 1st from 18 p.m., with a showcase by singer and impersonator Sarah Schwab. Among the highlights, we remember the return ofAnaïs Delva, the French-speaking voice of the “Frozen”, in concert on the stage of the Christmas Village on Wednesday December 20 at 18 p.m.. Big news this year: the snowstorm evenings every Friday evening with surprise guests and numerous gifts to be won!

Pyrotechnics and Lights
Every Saturday in December at 20 p.m. (until the 23rd), the sky over Royan lights up with “Enchanted Fires”. All of this musical fireworks shows have become unmissable events in Charente-Maritime. A final show will close the end-of-year celebrations on Sunday, December 31.

The Christmas markets plunge us into a warm and authentic atmosphere. Exhibitors, artisans and producers invite us to (re)discover their know-how through their local creations and specialties.
