Côte Sauvage beach supervised in summer from July 8 to August 27, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 19 p.m. by lifeguards, 16,5 km from Ronce-les-Bains.
Accessible from the bicycle and car parks by a slightly sloping sand path of 420 meters, bathing there requires great caution. Dominated by our giant of light, dressed in red and white who guards the entrance to the Gironde estuary, the largest estuary in Europe, announces the return to civilization with Palmyra and its nearby Bonne Anse bay. A few stones on the beach recall the remnants of the old semaphore. Food truck at La Coubre lighthouse, picnic tables. Surfing, bodyboarding: refer to the municipal decree.
A gate (2 m high) limits access to the car park. Parking prohibited from midnight to 6 a.m. – ban on lighting fires and barbecues in the forest.
Dogs on a leash are allowed all year round except from June 15 to September 15.
Horseback riding is permitted before 10 a.m. and after 20 p.m. from June 15 to September 15.
The overnight parking of motorhomes is regulated throughout the town of La Tremblade/Ronce-les-Bains between 23 p.m. and 9 a.m., outside the parking area provided for this purpose: refer to the municipal decree.
NO NUDITY.
