Plage du Chay
Surrounded by rocks, the conche du Chay is the most intimate, the most family-friendly of Royan's beaches, awarded the Blue Flag in 2019.
Supervised beach from Saturday June 21 to Saturday June 30, 2025 from 13:30 p.m. to 18:30 p.m.
From July 2 to August 31, 2025 inclusive, monitoring will take place from 11 a.m. to 19 p.m.
Then from September 1 to 7, 2025, swimming will be supervised from 13:30 p.m. to 18:30 p.m.
Application of municipal decree 22-1388, prohibiting access to the town's beaches to animals, even those kept on a leash, applicable from April 1 to September 30.
Specific signage has been put up on each site indicating the mandatory health measures.
NO NUDITY.
