Camping Nature Le Grand Pré, in Médis, offers a calm and preserved setting between countryside and coastline, just 5 km from the beaches of Royan Atlantique.
In keeping with the spirit of a small, nature-oriented campsite, the site offers very large pitches of approximately 400 m² spread across a 3-hectare wooded park. Tents, vans, caravans, and motorhomes will find an ideal space for a break in the heart of nature. Cyclists and hikers on longer journeys are also welcome.
The campsite benefits from direct access to the marsh, located in a Natura 2000 area, ideal for walks, observing the fauna and flora and fishing.
For those who prefer not to bring their own equipment, furnished tents are available for rent. Cottages are also available for weekly rental.
Several services facilitate the stay on site: free wifi, washing machine, rental of refrigerators and microwaves, bread and pastries (on order) and possibility of meal delivery by nearby restaurants.
A space is dedicated to cyclists and hikers travelling the Vélodyssée or the Way of St. James.

Opened in 1982 by Mr. Georges DESCHAMPS, temporarily run by his daughter and then for more than 30 years by the grandchildren, the campsite is now run by his great-grandson: Cyril FAVRE.
The campsite has always remained a family affair and aims to remain so.
The land, happily planted with trees, appeals to young and old alike who are looking for wide open spaces and peace and quiet close to the sea.
The warm and friendly atmosphere is appreciated, the regulars will be there to confirm it!
