Like Pandora's box, the furniture reveals the grandmother's private life, her secrets, what she didn't tell her daughter and therefore, what she didn't pass on to her granddaughter... From revelations to celebrations, like so many small ceremonies of self-reminding, the initiatory epic of En découdre brings to life the memory of a line of women and attempts to repair the living. A powerful text for a lively, generous and demanding creation.
