From April 25 to 30, Saint-Palais-sur-Mer celebrates literature with the 12th edition of the Les Palabreurs festival: "A la bonne heure! Le temps dans la littérature".
To mark the cultural center's 20th anniversary, we've chosen to play with time, to journey through the seasons, to explore what passes, what remains, what speeds up and what slows down. For one week, everyone can encounter time in their own way: through a novel, in the flow of a dramatized reading, at a lecture, a philosophical discussion, a film screening, an impromptu conversation…
Younger readers will also have their dedicated time. We will talk about memory, the future, impatience, rhythm, legacies, and resurgences. We will observe how writers recount what eludes us and what shapes us. We will take the time… to question it.
