Between limestone cliffs and the shores of the Gironde Estuary, we set off for an immersion in the heart of the Camargue mortagnaise, a typical area of the Gironde marsh.
Through the intimacy of this remarkable space, we discover all its biological riches… Between landscape readings and time spent observing the fauna and flora, we awaken our senses for the duration of an outing.
Distance: 1,5 km
Meeting point: 60 Quai de l'Estuaire (right bank of the port of Mortagne-sur-Gironde) before the entrance to the shipyard “le port sur la rive” (end of the tarmac road), near the sign “pedestrian path to the estuary”.
More information: This is a relaxing tour suitable for the whole family. Please bring a small bottle of water. Not accessible to strollers; baby carriers are recommended. Please wear appropriate footwear (no flip-flops or sandals). Not accessible to people with reduced mobility. In case of very adverse weather conditions and an orange alert, the tour will be canceled. Participants will be notified one hour in advance.
