Jeudis Musicaux 2025 – Trio d’anches

Oboist Freya Linea Obijon, born in 1997 in Hadamar, Germany, began playing music at the age of five in Moscow, where she spent seven years of her childhood. Returning to Germany in 2007, she discovered her passion for the oboe and subsequently perfected her skills with Michael Höfele, principal English horn of the HR Sinfonieorchester before entering the class of Paulus van der Merwe at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg, where she obtained her bachelor's degree in 2021. Laure Thomas discovered the bassoon at the age of 7 in the class of Alain Deleurence at the Colmar Conservatory. In 2024, she won first prize at the prestigious Gillet-Fox International Competition, organized by the International Double Reed Society. Yan Maratka, born in 2003, is a young French clarinetist who is establishing himself as a rising figure on the classical music scene.
