Jeudis Musicaux 2025 – Pierre Génisson et Frank Braley

Pierre Génisson is one of the most renowned representatives of the French wind school. Awarded the "Cino del Duca" Prize in 2018 by the Academy of Fine Arts of the Institut de France, Pierre Génisson is also a laureate of prestigious international competitions. After a long period of hesitation between scientific and musical studies, Frank Braley decided to leave university to devote himself entirely to music. In 1991, he won the First Grand Prize and the Audience Prize at the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition of Belgium. The public and the press agree on recognizing him as a "great" laureate, with exceptional musical and poetic qualities.
