Attached to minimalist music (she is currently including the complete Piano Studies by Philipp Glass in her repertoire, which she will record and perform in concert), Vanessa Wagner is also a romantic at heart who likes to think outside the box. This season she performs an anthology of varied pieces with a Nordic tone that sit alongside the calendar cycle of Tchaikovsky's Seasons, which she has just recorded for her label La Dolce Volta. Regarding this new CD, we could read in Le Monde: "Freedom, even abandonment [...] then becomes a force of seduction sublimated in May Nights with their caressing breath and passionate outbursts."
