Presentation

Born in 1966, Arno is the son of a sailor and himself a navigator. His pictorial adventures are imbued with maritime culture and tinged with poetic humor...

His first paintings date from 1988 and for several years, his approach has been organized around encounters with shipwrecked people: crushed metal cans, mishandled, stigmatized... Imaginary maritime maps and hybrid creatures appear throughout his inspirations. His paintings are made, for the most part, on driftwood, also shipwrecked from the sea.

Exhibition presented at the Café Transat in Parc de l’Estuaire.
Public presentation of the works by the artist on Friday April 26 at 16:30 p.m.
