Exposition – Cyanotype et Architecture
Add to my Google CalendarPresentation
By Aurélie Prissette
A monochrome photographic process developed in the mid-19th century, the cyanotype was then used to create herbaria from freshly collected plants. This plant field is always favored by artists who use this technique. The architecture and graphic lines of the buildings and villas of Royan also flourish very harmoniously on this medium, thanks to photographic negatives, mixed with fragments of documents or shadows of objects. The exhibition at the Royan Media Library presents a dozen of these creations.
