The group "Les Voix de l'Émotion" performs in polyphonic mode, that is to say that there are only voices without instruments. Polyphony is a song that has been performed since the Middle Ages.
The sacred and secular songs are performed in Latin. The paghjella, more traditional and listed as UNESCO's intangible heritage, is sung in Corsican. It is a tribute to the shepherds who, through these songs, recounted their daily lives.
