Un Violon sur la Ville – « Le silence de la fôret »
Wednesday July 29 at 21:00 a.m.
Phare de la Coubre Lieu-dit La Coubre (D25) 17390 La Tremblade
It is at the foot of the La Coubre lighthouse, as the sun sets over the vast pine forest, that cellist Olivia Gay and pianist Aurélien Pontier offer us a timeless interlude, where art and nature become one.
Artists:
Guo Gan, erhu
François Lambret, piano
“The Silence of the Forest” refers to Dvorak’s eponymous work and is part of an artistic and civic initiative for the preservation of our forests, led by cellist Olivia Gay. A committed artist, she infuses this evening with a profoundly sensitive dimension, echoing her role as an ambassador for the ONF – Acting for the Forest, supported by the patronage of
The House of Hennessy.
Between musical poetry and profound commitment, this concert celebrates the beauty of the forest and of music.
Parking is available in the beach car parks near the lighthouse in the forest.
Open seating. Chairs are available on site.
Remember to bring a flashlight or use your phone's flash to find your way back to the parking lot.
