There is a Mediterranean feel to the Théâtre de Verdure in the Parc de Royan with the duo Hélène Escriva on euphonium and Pierre Cussac on accordion.

Through this show, they send us a few sweet words from their imaginary cruise, rocked by the waves, under the burning sun of the coasts and intoxicated by the infinite horizons.

“Marinella” is a journey from Spain to Italy (around works by composers such as Granados, Tosti or Bellini), passing through France (Bizet, Debussy), to the gates of the Orient (Greece, Bulgaria, Lebanon) where arrangements and personal compositions by Pierre Cussac intertwine.

The two musicians, in cahoots, weave together a dialogue revealing a unique sonic palette in this ode to the music of the Mare nostrum, colored with melancholic breaths, salty sea spray and bursts of celebration!
