Jeudis Musicaux 2026 – Trio Arnold

Thursday, August 20 at 11:00 a.m.

Église Notre‑Dame de l’Assomption rue de l'Eglise 17120 Boutenac-Touvent

BOX OFFICE OPENING DATE: Thursday, July 2nd at 10am
Shuichi Okada (violin), Manuel Vioque‑Judde (viola) and Bumjun kim (cello)

Named in homage to the Viennese composer Arnold Schoenberg, the Arnold Trio was founded in 2018 between Berlin and Paris. A rare and surprising entity on the European musical scene, this string trio quickly forged a strong identity through its constant pursuit of a remarkably homogeneous sound, usually reserved exclusively for quartets, and an ensemble character of impressive expressive power. Versatile musicians and winners of prestigious international competitions, Shuichi Okada (violin), Manuel Vioque-Judde (viola), and Bumjun Kim (cello) honed their shared musical DNA for over a decade at the Seiji Ozawa International Academy Switzerland, where they received guidance from Pamela Frank, Nobuko Imai, Sadao Harada, and Seiji Ozawa.
